RATE/TAXPAYERS OF THE ADAMS FIRE DISTRICT

The Adams Fire District tax will be billed through the Town of Adams for Fiscal Year 2027. This tax provides the revenue for your fire protection and street lighting services. It will appear as a separate line item on your semi-annual property tax bill and is assessed per $1,000 of your property value. The tax rate is to be determined.

The water rate will be billed directly by the District. This rate provides the revenue for your water service. Water bills are mailed out quarterly and are based on the actual amount of water used per 1,000 gallons. There will be a minimal increase of $0.05 per 1,000 gallons for Fiscal Year 2027:

Water Rate:

Residential:     $8.80 per 1,000 gallons

Commercial:   $8.80 per 1,000 gallons

Industrial:        $8.80 per 1,000 gallons

Sprinkler: $25.00 per quarter or $100.00 annually

The rates will be effective for the billing starting July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
