Fire Protection taxes are billed semi-annually through the Town of Adams (for the District) and are based on assessed property value. The taxes collected are used to cover the full cost of fire protection, and includes, but is not limited to, all direct costs of the Fire Department, including debt service, plus a portion of the indirect costs of the administration, employee benefits, and insurance expenses of the District’s General Fund.
Street Lighting Tax
Street Lighting taxes are billed semi-annually through the Town of Adams (for the District) and are based on assessed property value. Water Rate
The Water Rate Charge is billed quarterly by the District for the actual number of per thousand gallons consumed and is used to cover the full cost of supplying water, and includes, but is not limited to, all direct costs of the Water Department, including debt service, plus a portion of the indirect costs of the administration, employee benefits, and insurance expenses of the District’s Enterprise Fund.
Sprinkler Rate (if applicable) The Sprinkler Rate Charge is billed quarterly by the District for access to District water for fire suppression systems.
